Below you’ll find information about registration fees, possible subsidies, travel and accommodation.
The full cost of the program is $395 for three days of on-site learning – which includes 3 books, 3 lunches, all refreshment breaks and 1 dinner. (If you have any special dietary requests, please email us and let us know how we can best accommodate you).
Alumni of Tamarack’s Communities Collaborating Institute or Collaborative Leadership workshop are eligible for an alumni rate of $350.00.
The special reduced rate for a 4-person community collaborative is $987. This rate assumes that:
- Business representative – pays full price
- Government representative – pays full price
- Community Organization – receives 50% off
- Person living in poverty – is free
Our hope is that this special rate will provide an incentive for communities to organize teams of learners who can attend together because, in our experience, this increases the likelihood that learning will be translated into community action.
If you live in poverty and are a volunteer in a poverty-reduction collaborative in your community, and have received partial subsidy from the group you volunteer for, we have limited subsidies available to support your participation. Please email Sylvia at sylvia@tamarackcommunity.ca and outline more about your background, your current involvement in a collaborative in your community and your needs (approximately 100 words.)
We will confirm your eligibility for a reduced rate after reviewing the email you’ve submitted with your registration. If you have any additional questions, please contact Sylvia at sylvia@tamarackcommunity.ca.
