The
Funders’ NetworkHere environmental groups can search
for organizations willing to fund environmental restoration,
community engagement, and smart growth projects. The Funders’
Network also has a large library of research available online.
UN-HABITAT: Publications
Catalogue Through this site you can search for documents
published by UN-HABITAT by category, year, language, or medium.
It also searches among databases, videos, CD-ROMs, and newsletters.
Try using the search words “community,” “environment,”
and “sustainable.”
Evergreen
Canada: Project Registry Evergreen’s Directory of
over 200 community-based environmental restoration projects
going on across Canada is a great resource. You can narrow
your search to look at schools, provinces, or specific types
of projects.
EPA:
Information Source This is the central place to find all
the EPA’s publications and reports. Many are available
online for download, but some must be ordered. Hotlines, staff
directories, and databases are all available as well.
Environment
Canada: Information & Publication Environment Canada’s
website features many online documents, as well as databases,
policy outlines, and educational resources. Browse or search
for your resource, sorted by theme.
Sustainable
Development Gateway Website This web portal contains more
than 1200 documents related to sustainable development, and
manages the Sustainability Web Ring, a directory of websites
dedicated to sustainable development and environmental issues.
Canadian
Institute for Environmental Law & Policy Founded
in 1970, the Canadian Institute for Environmental Law and
Policy is an independent, not-for-profit research and educational
organization whose mission is to provide leadership in the
research and development of environmental law and policy that
promotes the public interest and sustainability.
