The first session in the Tamarack Seminar Series, Paul Born and Mark
Cabaj of Tamarack discussed the recently revised Poverty Matrix.
Joining them were practitioners who have
tested the Matrix in their own communities and offered feedback
during the process. The Poverty Matrix is designed to guide
you through the process of "mapping" poverty in
a community.
Understanding the extent and scope of poverty
helps provide a more strategic assessment of the situation
and how you can most effectively address the needs of those
in your community.
