| The Forsyth Centre
for Community and Communication provides opportunities for
people to explore body-mind consciousness, humane living "in
community," creative communication, and authentic leadership.
Educational programs include one-on-one and small-group experiences
and workshops that give individuals depth and breadth in thinking,
feeling, intuition, and imagination in whatever they do in
everyday life and work-in families, schools, communities,
organizations and society as a whole.
Workshops and educational programs include
the following:
- Reducing Stress in the BodyMind
- Healing Through Movement and Art
- Community in Diversity
- Communication in Creative Leadership
- Exploring Differences Together
In times of stress and confrontation such
as those we live in today, it is critically important that
people return to their roots as human beings and make responsible
decisions about how they shall live within and with others.
At the Forsyth Centre:
- Individuals can become more aware of who they are and
wish to be.
- They can achieve knowledge and skills leading to greater
self-confidence and self-actualization.
- They can develop qualities of character such as self-respect,
respect for others, empathy and trust of self.
- They can discover new approaches to communication that
make it possible to build healthy communities.
- And they can learn fundamental characteristics of creative
leadership.
