Established in 2002, Vibrant Communities is a "collaboration
of collaborations" of 15 communities and three national
sponsors that are committed to exploring the extent to which
local communities can reduce poverty through multisectoral
and comprehensive efforts.

after-tax low income cut-offs, representing a significant
number of Canadians who are not realizing their full potential.
Those
involved in Vibrant Communities are developing a working prototype
of collaborative action across sectors and at national and
local levels of activity.
